We are not breeding again for the foreseeable future, however we have two unexpected pregnancies!
The kids will not be registerable since we didn't plan the breedings (houdini girls this time!). The pregnant does (both registered) are available for sale before their kidding dates.
See DOES below for details.
DOELINGS
TWO GOLD & WHITE DOELINGS TO GO TOGETHER
STARX S SUNSPARK (Spark)
STARX S SUNSPRITE (Sprite)
Sunny and Simon produced quads, three of which were doelings. The three are gorgeous, gold and white, brown eyed. Two with stronger white markings, and one with lesser white markings. All are polled!
We would prefer to sell the two with the strong markings together, Spark and Sprite, as they are bonded. The other doeling, Smooch, must be sold with her best friend Ettie (see below) as they are very bonded and were bottle babies.
THEY ALL HAVE THEIR REGISTRATION PAPERS IN HAND $300 each ($500 together)
ETTIE AND SMOOCH
ETTIE
- Audrey
and Midnight Star produced Miette, a dark buckskin girl, brown eyes and
polled. She is registered with ADGA, papers will go with her. Ettie was
one of triplets and born smaller than her sisters, so we decided to bottle
feed her (she caught up quickly!). She is very sweet and friendly (think goat-puppy). I adore this beautiful doeling.
SMOOCH - Sunny and Simon produced Smooch. Smooch is one of quads. She is gold and white, brown eyed and polled. Because she was a quad, we made the decision to bottle feed her and be a companion baby to Ettie. Smooch is just like her name - she's a sweetie and loves to be petted!
Because
they were raised as sisters, these girls are very strongly bonded and I
will only sell them together.
Both of these are quality, very
correct doelings. If we were going to continue breeding, these two would
be kept. Unfortunately tough times means we must downsize, as much as I hate to lose them.
Ettie $350 and Smooch $300 each ($500 together)
THREE DOELINGS
BUCKSKIN, COU CLAIR: LUCY (cou clair) and TILLY (buckskin)
Audrey and Midnight Star produced gorgeous triplet doelings! Buckskin (Tilly) and cou clair (Lucy) are horned. Both brown eyed. We would prefer to sell Tilly and Lucy together as they are bonded.
THEY HAVE THEIR REGISTRATION PAPERS IN HAND
Lucy and Tilly $220 each ($400 together)
CHAMOISEE WITH EXTENSIVE WHITE OVERLAY - STARX S STARDUST (Star)
Venus and Simon have outdone themselves with this one beautiful doeling. She is blue eyed and horned, gorgeous flashy colors. Being horned and same age as Lucy and Tilly, we would prefer Star to be rehomed with them.
SHE HAS HER REGISTRATION PAPERS IN HAND
$300 (sold with Lucy and Tilly $600 for all three)
TWO DOELINGS FOR PET HOME ONLY (NO BREEDING)
BUCKSKIN DOELING, MOONSPOTS - STARX S DASH OF PIZZAZ (Jazz)
Dash and Simon have done it again and produced gorgeous babies. Jazz is a chocolate buckskin doeling with moonspots (moonspots are mainly hidden now that her cape has extended all the way), and she horned and brown eyed. Jazz is very small and must NEVER be bred as it would most likely kill her. Therefore, although we have her registration papers, she will be sold without them.
COU CLAIR DOELING, WITH WHITE - BABY JEWEL
Jewel had an unplanned pregnancy and produced twins. Baby Jewel is a gorgeous little cou clair with white doeling from that litter. She is a very tiny doeling, so she must never be bred as she would not be able to give birth naturally. We suspect that her father is Simon, as he occasionally produces quite small babies, but since she cannot be bred, Baby Jewel will be sold unregistered.
Because of their size and being unable to be bred, we would like these two doelings to be rehomed together. They are very healthy, have never had coccidia or any other health problems. They are just smaller than breeding size. They are sweet and friendly, and would make beautiful pets. Please don't take them to eat. $300 for both. BUCKS FOR SALE
We are not breeding for the foreseeable future, and so ALL of our bucks are for sale.
STARX S DASH OF PANACHE (Nash)
Chamoise, brown eyed, polled. Nash has no white that we can see, no frosting. (While we don't breed for color, this will be of interest to anyone
wishing to keep the coat patterns pure and free of the excessive white)
Dam: Bamarama Dash
Nash is a lovely, showy boy and these photos don't do him justice. He is such a handsome buckling, whenever I pass the buckling enclosure, I can't help but pause to admire at him.
As well, he's such a sweetheart and super gentle and easy to handle. He was the first kid born of the season and got plenty of cuddles as a baby. Note that he is already proven (he quickly and successfully bred a few does last year) and he is a very respectful young herd sire.
We would dearly love to keep him
but we'll retain his sire for at least another year, and have repeated this
breeding. He deserves to go where he'll be used, but we would like first first right of refusal to buy him back if he is ever again sold. He can go alone to live with a herd, or he can go with (unrelated) Midnight Star at a reduced price ($200 for both).
BAMARAMA MIDNIGHT STAR
Midnight is an absolute darling and it pains me dreadfully to list him for sale. He has produced many gorgeous babies for us, and we have kept several daughters. It's now time for him to find new does to love.
He is a gentle, respectful herd sire and he is happy to pen breed or will walk (or run!) on a leash and breed his does while on the leash. Most of his does have produced triplets. Midnight is black, brown eyed, and has produced many glamorous looking babies that have been very difficult to let go! (Which is why we have kept too many of them!)
Midnight lives happily and gets along well with three other bucks. He can be sold to live with a herd, or he can go with (unrelated) Starx S Dash of Panache (Nash) or Bamarama Harley (Harley - see note below) at a discount for both. Why spend money feeding a wether pal if you can have two friendly bucks and expand your bloodlines?

Chamoise, disbudded, brown eyes. ADGA registered.
It kills me to list Simon for sale. He is such a sweet, darling boy who we have had since he was a baby. He has produced many gorgeous babies for us, many with flashy colors. We would love to keep him, but we are no longer breeding, and he deserves to have new does to love.
He is also a gentle, respectful herd sire and he is happy to pen breed or will
walk (eg. drags me!) on a leash and breeds his does while on the leash. Most of
his does have produced triplets, and he has had quads. He is a small, very correct buck and he usually passes this down to his offspring.

sold with (unrelated) Midnight or Harley (see note below) at a discount for
both. Why spend money feeding a wether pal if you can have two friendly
bucks and expand your bloodlines?
Simon's pedigree speaks for itself, but because of his age (2018), he is listed at a reduced price. However, he has had no difficulty at all in getting does pregnant this year. He is still breeding with gusto! As with most more mature males, he just needs a little longer to recover between matings!

BAMARAMA HARLEY
STARX SUNSHINE AND SAFFRON (Saffy)
Gold, white on feet, blue eyes, polled. ADGA registered.
Sire: Bamarama Midnight
Dam: The Em-Kee Farms Raia Sunshine
Saffy is a beautiful 2022 doe and would be a valuable asset to any milking herd. She's super sweet and very
friendly. She is possibly pregnant, as she had an escape to spend time with the bucks on March 4th, 2025. (Kids will not be registerable) This would be her second kidding. She kidded with a single big buckling last year, easily and without assistance. As a note, her mother has kidded with quads, so it is possible that Saffy could deliver multiples also.
STARX MS STORM FLOWER - FLOWER (Photo on DOES page)
Dark buckskin, blue eyes, polled. ADGA registered.
Sire: Bamarama Midnight
Dam: The Winterstorm
Flower is a gorgeous 2022 girl. She is a little shy at first, but when she knows you, she enjoys being petted. She is possibly pregnant, but any kids born will not be registerable.
FINDING FAVOR MAL FAITHFUL VIN - IVY (See her photo and pedigree on DOES page)
Swiss marked, brown eyes, disbudded. ADGA registered.Sire: Buffalo Clover A Malachi
Dam: Finding Favor Jolee
Ivy is sweet and she never causes any drama. In fact, she goes out of her way to avoid it. She enjoys being loved on but she's always very respectful and never pushy.
These 3 does are $300 each, but we would prefer them to go together. ($500 for two, or $700 all three)
Sales Terms
Information for Prospective Buyers (not as scary as it sounds!)
- When you inquire about a goat from us, please provide brief information about your property and situation, eg. what provision for shelter do you have, do you have safe fencing, other goats and their breeds, if you have a buck and will he run with the does, what you feed or plan to feed, whether you give minerals etc. (Please see our Basic Care page. At a minimum, goats need shelter, feed, hay, clean water, and appropriate medical care when required) It's okay if you're new to goats and don't have all the answers (we still don't have all the answers either!) but know that our goal is to rehome our babies into good situations. Before or after your purchase, we're happy to answer questions and help with your transition into being a crazy goat person.
- Our
goats are much loved, and our aim is to sell to homes that will provide this care. This is why we can't sell
a goat to a home without other goats, unless the buyer will be buying
more than one. Goats are herd animals and they do not do well alone. We prefer to sell goats in pairs because this greatly reduces the amount of stress on them as they settle into their new homes. Goats do not do well under stress - stressed goats are very prone to illness, diarrhea, parasite bloom etc.
-
We don't routinely treat kids for coccidia, as we have not found it necessary to treat a kid in years. However, we do give feed that is medicated for prevention of coccidia once babies begin to eat.
- Our
does are given boosters during late pregnancy, but we've had several
buyers ask that kids not be given vaccinations, so this is something we
now leave up to the buyer. Be assured, the kids are well cared for to
reduce or eliminate any foreseeable problems. If you have a reservation and wish your baby to be vaccinated, please let us know, because we are happy to do this for them.
- We
no longer routinely disbud horned babies for humane reasons. Our herd contains a mix of horned, disbudded and polled goats, and after many years without incident, we do not believe this painful procedure is necessary. Unfortunately, we have seen awful problems from disbudding, and we have also seen a horn degloved. We do accept that others may have different opinions and experiences, and that what works for them differs, and we are in no way judgemental (we are basically too soft-hearted to perform disbudding). If you have a reservation and
require a kid to be disbudded, you'll need to let us know when you pay a
deposit within 5 days of kidding. After 10-14 days, disbudding will
likely not be possible. Disbudding may incur a further fee as we take
them to our livestock veterinarian to have this performed.
- Every
goat has its own genetic makeup, and an amazing pedigree does not
ensure that an individual kid will grow up and develop in the amazing
way you hope. We make improvements to our herd and do our best to breed
quality goats with the stock we have, thoughtfully matching buck and doe to achieve this, but we have no control over what
traits that kid will inherit. There are environmental as well as genetic
factors that influence how a goat grows and matures. Once the animal
has left our property, we have no control over how it is fed or cared
for, and we cannot guarantee the conformation, size or eventual quality
of any goat we sell.
- Goats
are guaranteed healthy when they leave us. Once the animal leaves our
property, there is no guarantee extended. Goats can become stressed and
sick within hours. We do our best to prepare the goat for
leaving, but it is up to the buyer to ensure that no unnecessary stress
occurs. We will not let a goat leave us if we feel it is not perfectly
healthy in any way, and may decide to extend the stay of the goat until
we're convinced it is not unwell. We are happy to provide a veterinary
health certificate at the buyer's expense.
-
We don't automatically wether bucklings from first fresheners. I know this is something many breeders have an opinion on. We assess how the dam's udder and capacity developed after kidding and together with what we know of the dam's dam and sire's dam, we make our decision. In our opinion, it would be a shame if what would become a great buck was wethered simply because he was born first. For the most part, we leave the decision to wether up to the purchaser, but we will discuss his and his dam's and sire's qualities and flaws so that you can make an informed decision about breeding.
Deposits and Reservations
We have no plans at the moment to breed for more kids.
Our breeding schedule is subject to change until we are sure the doe has settled.
We don't breed for eye or coat color, and don't recommend making reservations based on them, because you are likely to be disappointed. However, for interest's sake, we've listed our predictions on our Breeding Plans page!
We don't breed for eye or coat color, and don't recommend making reservations based on them, because you are likely to be disappointed. However, for interest's sake, we've listed our predictions on our Breeding Plans page!
Prices depend on the quality of the goat, and may go up or down at our discretion, as we are in a time of flux regarding increasing feed and hay prices.
If
you choose a kid once born or adult for sale, a deposit will need to be paid to
hold that goat, and the balance paid on or before pickup. Deposits are
non-refundable unless the goat is no longer available and your deposit
will be promptly returned. If you are unable to make it to the allotted
pickup day, please let us know as we are very flexible. Communication is
the key.
Transportation and Pickup
Transportation
is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please ensure that you have a safe container for transporting your goats. Inside the vehicle is best for small babies. A crate on the back of a truck is fine for older goats, but please ensure that they have shade and are protected from wind and cold.
We reserve the right to deny a sale if we believe that not enough care has been taken to protect the goats during transit.
If time permits, we
may be able to transport or meet you up to approximately 30-45 minutes from
our home, for a small fee. Please discuss this with us first, as things can tend to get busy here!
Please be respectful of our time. It is unfortunate that we even have to say this. We often have to rearrange our days to organize a pickup time that is convenient for you. We have jobs outside of the home as well as other responsibilities. Unfortunately we have had several experiences where we have made the effort to move around our work schedules for the pickup time, and the buyer has not shown up, or not communicated that they are delayed or could not make it until well past the allotted time. Communication is courtesy.
